All animals must be a minimum of 5 months of age or over and be fully vaccinated (C5 for Dogs) to be admitted. Proof of current vaccination must be provided prior to or on the day of check in.
If unable to prove current C5 vaccination we are unable to accept the dog into our boarding facility. It is the owners responsibility to prove this documentation
The owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date the animal is checked into the Operator’s premises (as advised in the price list).
All fees are subject to change without notice – however we will provide notification of the changes to all customers when this occurs.
No refunds or credit will be given for early pick up or shortened stay once check in has commenced.
Cancellation of a booking in out of peak season more than 14 days prior to check in received in writing or through our portal will incur a $50.00 administration fee. If payment has been received a refund or credit will be offered less the administration fee. 14 days or less prior to check in you will be asked to pay 50% of the invoiced booking fee.
Cancellation of a booking in peak season once the 50% deposit has been made which is due 60 days prior to the check in date there is a 24hour window to cancel which must be received in writing or through the customer portal. This deposit is non-refundable 24 hours after payment is received.
Bookings that include a Saturday or Sunday incur a 4 day minimum charge.
The owner agrees to pay all costs, charges and transportation fees of $50.00 per hour for special services requested or needed and any veterinary costs, reasonably incurred for the animal during the time the animal is in the Operator’s care. In the event of the animal suffers a serious illness and where the owner cannot be readily contacted the veterinary surgeon’s decision in relation to treatment of the animal shall be final and conclusive.
The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the animal while it is in the Operator’s care and hereby indemnifies the Operator and employees and shall keep the Operator and employees indemnified and held harmless to the full extent permitted by law for any loss or damage or injury caused by the action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability for the Operator.
The owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the animal, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.
The owner agrees that photos and videos of the animal whilst they board at Yandina Hound Hotel can be used in social media posts and on the website
All costs and charges incurred by the owner and for and on behalf of the owner including Veterinary costs, transport costs and expenses pursuant to this agreement must be paid before the animal leaves the Operator’s premises.
If all charges are not paid, the owner agrees that the Operator has the right to offer the animal for public sale or otherwise dispose of the animal in any manner which the Operator may in its sole and absolute discretion deem appropriate. If such sale/disposal does not secure a price adequate to cover the charges and the cost of sale/disposal, the owner is liable to the Operator for any shortfall. The Operator may take this course of action as set out herein if not advised of a pickup date within five days of the advised date at which time the animal will be deemed to be abandoned.
Under no circumstances will the Operator, or its employees or agents, be held responsible for Canine Influenza (kennel cough), medical fees, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal while in the control of the Operator.
The owner acknowledges their acceptance of the Conditions of Boarding Animal and confirms the accuracy of all information given about the animal. The owner acknowledges that the agreeing to board the animal shall create a lien over the animal in favour of the Operator which lien shall continue to exist whilst ever monies are owing to the Operator pursuant to this agreement.
The owner confirms a paralysis tick preventative treatment (eg Nexguard, Bravecto or similar commercially available treatment) has been used to provide adequate protection for the duration of the stay, or in the event of an extended stay, made suitable arrangements to ensure adequate paralysis tick preventative treatment for the duration of the stay. (Tick collars are not accepted as adequate protection)
The owner confirms that they have been open and fully disclosed any health or behavioural issues, that no dangerous or menacing orders have been placed against the said animal. to the operator prior to check in so that an informed decision can be made by the operator that they are able to safely care for the animal
The manager / owner of Yandina Hound Hotel has the right to refuse an admission of any animal in their sole and absolute discretion.
